Smart TV App

The beIN MEDIA GROUP manages 7 different media companies around the world and serves actively in 43 different countries. Founded in 2014, the beIN MEDIA GROUP acquired the largest Turkish Pay-TV platform Digiturk in 2016.

Here, as Senior Product Designer, I was responsible for the Smart TV App design for Digiturk’s beIN CONNECT (OTT Platform) brand.

Market understanding

I did a market benchmark and competitor analysis to better understand the situation. I presented my findings to the group of directors, up to CFO, to get their buy-in to start the project.

Wireframes and prototypes

I made wireframes for phase 1, which were decided with the stakeholders according to their priorities. I made prototypes for the finalized wireframes. After having discussions with the stakeholders, I finalized the wireframes.

UI

I started to do the designs on Sketch according to the approved wireframes. After reviews and feedback sessions with stakeholders, I finalized the designs. I integrated the final designs for the software developers into the Zeplin application. I completed the designs for Android TVs, Samsung TVs, Apple TVs, and LG TVs according to the order determined by the product owner. (Only the Android Smart TV product is shown below as an example.)
