• Led the Easy Bill project: mobile web page for users who use Digiturk STBs (satellite receiver set-top boxes), to track and to pay monthly bills quickly and review details from mobile phones. Read More
• Created the end-to-end design process of the Easy Bill product from UX to UI: how the system works, data collection, mock-ups & prototypes, user tests with focus groups, and final UI designs and user engagement raised by 50%.
• Streamlined beIN Group Asia Pacific area UI design needs and coordinated overseas design teams.
• Operated key products of the company: digiturk.com.tr, beinsports.com, and digiturkplay.com/en.

Key Achievements

• Led focus group activities for Easy Bill's mobile web page prototypes. Analysed the feedback received and made necessary modifications to tailor the screens according to the user's requirements. Digiturk experienced 25% fewer complaint calls from monthly bill users after the design launch.
• Pioneered the team's design approach. The team was using Photoshop and had to send split-up JPG or PNG files to the developers. Suggested the adoption of Sketch and Zeplin applications and showed the impact. As a result, the team's efficiency has increased, and agile processes have improved by 70%.

Senior UX/UI Designer

Markafoni, the Turkish shopping portal, offers clothing and fashion accessories. The site had 6 million customers all over the Turkish-speaking regions which stopped Markafoni operations in 2017.

Responsive web design, IOS app design and Android app design

• Innovated the shopping cart & checkout steps. Developed end-to-end UX and UI, including findings, wireframes, heuristic evaluation, flow charts, prototypes, and user tests with +15 real users in a Markafoni retail store. Read More
• Recreated the filter function. Defined the most accurate filtering solutions through competitor analysis.
• Created the category tree from scratch for the whole site whilst the product registration system on the server was in the rebuilding process.
• Simplified the delivery screens, and "orders" Optimised the delivery date allocation problem with improved new designs, as the needed data was available in the back-end system but not properly reflected in the UI.

Key Achievements

• Headed user tests with +15 actual customers at a Markafoni retail store, using prototypes designed, for the shopping cart and checkout processes. Based on the feedback from the testing, adjusted the UI design, which led to a significant decrease in complaints from the call centre about these screens.
• Launched the new delivery screens, accessible under "orders", and there has been a remarkable 48% reduction in call centre complaints concerning the delivery process.

• Executed design processes for hurriyet.com.tr, the main webpage of the company, and all other digital products.
• Designed the website of bumerang.hurriyet.com.tr, Bumerang's weekly newsletters, and banners.

Key Achievements

• Coached the design team on utilising the Agile Kanban system after completing the Kanban and Scrum training provided by the company. Managed all Kanban processes for the team and collaborated with key stakeholders. In addition, guided project prioritization and other related topics.
• Led the intern recruiting process, delegated design projects, and coached and supervised during the internship period.
